Wasiu Oduwole has requested justice after a ruler, Nureni Oduwaye, allegedly kicked his eye at the Moore Blessing Inn, Ikenne, in Sagamu, Ogun State.

The casualty asserted he could never again see with his eyes.

Oduwaye executed this after supposedly blaming Wasiu for hitting the dance floor with his "Olori" during a birthday festivity at the inn.

The queen and the ruler were said to have been welcomed by the celebrant, known basically as Iya Alaje.

Before the celebration started, Wasiu told our journalist that the owner of the hotel, Yakub Omobolanle, had contracted him to get ready 14 plates of catfish pepper soup for the visitors.

The merchant said he had visited the lodging to initiate the arrangement when he understood that the elements for the pepper soup were not sufficiently prepared and he immediately went to report himself and apologise to the celebrant.

The Ogun State indigene said out of nowhere, the ruler requested that he introduce himself, and he said he was the younger sibling of the proprietor of the lodging.

He asserted that the Oduwaye, in anger, left for his vehicle, adding that the lodging proprietor and the spouse of the celebrant pursued him. However, Iya Alaje's significant other returned and told him to apologise to the ruler.

According to reports, the king stormed out angrily because he claimed Wasiu was dancing with his wife. In an effort to beg the king and ask for forgiveness, Wasiu got kicked in his left eye, which made him a patient of Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital.

Wasiu's mom, Shakirat, blamed the Sagamu commander for endeavouring to hide the case, adding that the ruler was taking advantage of his leverage to forestall justice.

The proprietor of the hotel, who affirmed the assault on Wasiu, said the ruler had been acting unremorseful.
