Abubakar, who described what unfolded at the drinking joint, told the national dailies that the man drank nine bottles and struggled to finish the remaining two.
She said the man gave up the ghost while the vendor closed her shop and fled.
Before the man kicked the bucket, she continued, he was vomiting through his nose, ears, and mouth.
She further said a hunter who was passing by was stunned at seeing the dead man and informed the residents who buried him.
The departed was said to have had a spouse and five children.
