On Wednesday, Benue retired people showed up in Makurdi against the state's neglected annuity.
They begged government authorities to pay them promptly because their ability to help their families has dwindled.
The men asserted that the Okada men — business bike riders notorious for taking spouses — are doing it since they can't fulfil basic needs.
On September 21, 2022, a gathering of senior residents walked to the Makurdi state gathering complex while conveying flags with trademarks.
As per reports, the retired people were initially denied entrance because the Speaker was not there, but after holding fast, they were allowed to talk with the board.
