Famous Nollywood talents Nkechi Blessing and Bakare Zhainab are trying their luck appealing to music star Davido's generous spirit in a new social media video. The actresses delivered an enthusiastic hype song pleading for the singer to "bless them" financially.

This comes after Davido's industry peer Wizkid recently awarded an Instagram fan, hypeman GOE, 15 million naira for his viral "Ta Ta Ta" song in the star's honour. Now, Nkechi and Zhainab are playfully hoping to catch Davido's eye and secure their blessings.

In native attire, the dramatic duo belted catchy lyrics praising the hitmaker’s success. More notably, they begged him to have mercy due to hunger in the land. “Any metre will be accepted!” an earnest Nkechi proclaimed to the camera while rolling on the floor, feigning desperation.

While likely more of a comical skit than an earnest request, their performance still aims to flatter Davido as they creatively lobby for assistance. We’ll have to see if their musical tribute yields any financial support from the elite musician like his hypeman received.

But with acting chops like Nkechi and Zhainab’s creatively expressing their needs, they just may melody their way into Davido’s wallet yet!
